On June 20, Quang Ngai Provincial Social Insurance organized a launching ceremony to respond to Vietnam Health Insurance Day (July 1), associated with a 10-day and night peak communication campaign to mobilize people to participate in self-funded health insurance (HI).
With the goal of developing more than 19 thousand people to participate in health insurance in 10 days and nights, the provincial social insurance sector is determined to increase the health insurance coverage rate, towards the goal of "Universal health insurance - Sustainable social security platform", leaving no one behind in health care and protection.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Social Insurance emphasized that HI is a social security policy with profound humanitarian significance of the Party and State, helping people reduce the burden of medical examination and treatment costs when unfortunately sick, and at the same time contributing to the implementation of the goal of universal health care.
In recent years, the health insurance coverage rate in the province has been constantly improved thanks to the attention and direction of levels and sectors and the active coordination of collection service organizations. However, there is still a part of the population who has not participated or has interrupted health insurance participation, posing many risks when encountering health problems.
This campaign is a key activity to bring health insurance policies closer to the people. During the peak period, the forces will focus on propagating the new points of the 2024 Health Insurance Law, policies to support health insurance contributions according to Resolution No. 60 of the Provincial People's Council, as well as practical benefits when participating in health insurance.
Provincial Social Insurance requests organizations to support the development of beneficiaries, collection staff and collaborators to stick to the area, strengthen direct propaganda to each household, and at the same time promote the application of digital technology and social networks to spread policies, contributing to the implementation of the goal "Universal health insurance - Sustainable social security platform".
