A free-range chicken farming cooperative was established with 5 participating households, with a scale of about 500 chickens.
Households take advantage of available hill garden areas to organize free-range farming; and at the same time strengthen linkages and mutual support in the process of applying technical advances, focusing on disease prevention and control and ensuring environmental sanitation, towards building safe and effective livestock products.
At the launching ceremony, leaders of Phuc Trach commune acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive spirit of Loc Giang parishioners in boldly implementing the new economic development model.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuc Trach commune supported the cooperative group with 5 million VND to buy breeds and veterinary medicine, creating favorable conditions for households to stabilize production right from the initial stage.
The launch of the free-range chicken farming cooperative is a practical activity to strengthen linkages between households in economic development, create jobs, increase income for people and contribute to building sustainable new rural areas in Phuc Trach border commune.
