On the morning of April 8, Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh - Director of Ha Tinh Center for Disease Control informed that a dengue fever outbreak had just been detected in Hop Tien residential group, Vung Ang ward.
Accordingly, on April 3, the first dengue fever case was detected, N.T. L. A (born 1998, residing in Hop Tien residential group, Vung Ang ward).
By April 7, this residential group recorded 3 more people with dengue fever tested positive for NS1Ag.
Currently, 3 patients are being treated at Ky Anh General Hospital, and 1 patient is being treated at Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital.
Immediately after receiving information about a case of dengue fever, leaders of the Ha Tinh Center for Disease Control and specialized departments were directly present in the area, coordinating with the Vung Ang Ward Health Station and local authorities to urgently implement epidemic prevention and control measures to prevent the epidemic from spreading widely.
Currently, the Ha Tinh Center for Disease Control has coordinated with the health station to spray adult mosquito repellent for all households in Hop Tien residential group within a radius of 200 m from the patient's house.
Ha Tinh Center for Disease Control recommends that people proactively kill mosquitoes and larvae in households, monitor their health and go to medical facilities when they have suspected symptoms.
