On April 7, at Yen Phong Industrial Park, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV) in coordination with the company's Trade Union and the Traffic Police Department of Bac Ninh Provincial Police organized the Launching Ceremony of the "Traffic Safety Enterprise" model. This is a key activity to concretize the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution on building a "Traffic Safety Province".
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Police leadership, the Provincial Industrial Parks Authority, representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation, the Board of Directors and a large number of SEV Company employees.
The implementation of the "Traffic Safety Enterprise" model at SEV focuses on 3 main pillars: Raising awareness: Promoting propaganda and dissemination of the Road Traffic Law, regulations on alcohol concentration and speed for 100% of officials and employees. Standardizing behavior: Building a civilized code of conduct when participating in traffic, from internal parking areas to the route from home to workplace. Self-management supervision: Promoting the role of self-management groups, security forces and leaders of departments in reminding and rectifying violations.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Traffic Police Department highly appreciated SEV's efforts in the past time. Not only stopping at slogans, SEV has implemented a series of practical activities such as: Organizing online competitions to learn about traffic safety; building a safe driving skills experience area and handling simulated situations; developing a bus system to transport professional staff, contributing to reducing the pressure of personal vehicles on key national highways of the province.
On this occasion, the Board of Directors and the Trade Union of SEV Company conducted commendation and rewarding of outstanding heads of departments in charge of traffic safety. These are typical individuals who have made positive contributions to maintaining discipline and ensuring no traffic incidents occur in their managed departments.
The launch of a pilot model at a large-scale labor enterprise like SEV is of great significance, creating a strong spillover effect to other businesses in the industrial park.
Mr. Lai Hoang Dung - Human Resources Director in charge of training, Chairman of SEV Trade Union - affirmed: "Building a traffic safety enterprise model not only protects the health and lives of employees but also demonstrates Samsung's social responsibility to the locality. We are committed to maintaining this model as an essential part of corporate culture, towards a Safe - civilized - sustainable working environment.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, representatives of the company's departments signed an emulation agreement to well implement traffic safety contents, determined to minimize traffic accidents on all three criteria.
