Participating in this year's contest are 24 comrades selected from the contests of affiliated agencies and units. Each contestant participating in the contest will have to go through 3 parts of the contest including: Propaganda outline compilation exam; propaganda practice exam and general knowledge exam.
This contest aims to widely propagate to cadres, party members, and the masses about the important contents of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress of the Army and Resolutions of Congresses at all levels. Encouraging, motivating, and highly promoting the spirit of patriotism, self-reliance, self-strengthening, innovation, and national unity; consolidating and strengthening the trust of cadres, party members, and the masses in the Party, fighting against false information and viewpoints of hostile forces, protecting the ideological foundation of the Party; bringing the Party's resolutions into life, contributing to building the Vietnam Coast Guard force, the 4-Revolutionary Coast Guard Region Command, regular, elite, and modern; firmly protecting security and sovereignty, ensuring order and safety in the Southwest sea area in the new era of national development.
The Excellent Reporter Contest of Coast Guard Region 4 Command was a great success. Speaking at the closing of the Contest, Major General Nguyen Van Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 4 Command praised the spirit of responsibility of the Organizing Committee, the Judging Panel and agencies and units; acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the contestants who brought to the Contest quality propaganda content with high orientation. The contest is not only an opportunity to evaluate the team of reporters but also contributes to improving the effectiveness of political education, legal propaganda, and building determination for officers and soldiers to successfully complete the task of protecting sovereignty, maintaining security, order, and safety in the Southwest sea area.
The Political Commissar of the Regional Command emphasized that the Contest is an opportunity for Party committees and commanders at all levels to accurately assess the capacity of the team of reporters; and at the same time discover typical factors to foster and build the core force for propaganda and education work. Through the Contest, each contestant needs to promote their research, synthesis, and selection of content close to the unit's tasks; closely combine theory with practice; flexibly apply presentation methods, effectively use presentation means and illustrative models; pay attention to linking and orienting ideology, creating high unity in awareness and action among officers and soldiers.
At the end of the Contest, the Head of Coast Guard Region 4 Command awarded certificates of merit to individuals who won First, Second, Third and Consolation prizes in the Contest and awarded certificates to comrades who achieved Excellent Reporters in 2026.
