According to the Son La Provincial e-Portal, Mr. Bui Van Thanh - Secretary of the Party Committee of Yen Son commune (Son La) and Mr. Lo The Thi - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee and the working delegation have just surveyed the actual area of the planned project to invest in the construction of the Moc Chau - Son La - Dien Bien expressway (CT. 03), section passing through the commune.
The survey aims to assess the current situation, prepare conditions to serve site clearance and arrange resettlement for affected households.
According to the preliminary survey plan, the expressway passes through Yen Son commune from Km151+260 to Km154+540, through Phuong Quynh village and Chieng Hung village. It is expected that 10 households will be affected, mainly in Phuong Quynh village, with a total area of about 28ha.
The affected area includes rural residential land, rice land, annual crop land, perennial crop land and some other types of land. The current land use status will continue to be reviewed, measured, and inventoried to accurately determine.
The working delegation also surveyed the planned construction location of the resettlement area, and at the same time assessed the current status of technical infrastructure works within the project area.
Through initial review, the project may affect the road from Dan village, Chieng Sang to Phuong Quynh village, some village roads and roads to the production area; some sections of 35kV power lines; water tanks, domestic water supply systems of Quynh Phuong village and telecommunications broadcasting stations of Vinaphone and Mobifone.
After the survey, leaders of the Yen Son Commune Party Committee requested specialized agencies to continue to coordinate with the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to review the current status of land use and assets on land; propose a resettlement area location suitable to the plan, ensuring technical infrastructure, social infrastructure and production development conditions for people after relocation.
The locality will also strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to agree with the project investment policy; strictly manage construction order within the expected land recovery scope, ensuring that compensation, support and resettlement work are carried out publicly and in accordance with regulations.
The survey results are the basis for the locality to continue to coordinate with the investor to complete the site clearance plan, determine the location of the resettlement area and prepare necessary conditions, contributing to accelerating the progress of the Moc Chau - Son La - Dien Bien expressway project in Yen Son commune.
