To serve key projects, Tuyen Quang province is focusing on accelerating the construction of resettlement areas in a synchronous and modern direction. This is considered an important solution to create a clean ground, stabilize people's lives and increase consensus in site clearance (GPMB), according to the Tuyen Quang e-Portal (TTĐT).
Currently, the province is implementing many large projects such as the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway, My Lam eco-tourism urban area, My Lam sports complex and golf course, along with many technical infrastructure and connecting transportation projects. The scale of the projects requires large land area recovery, affecting thousands of households.
To serve the My Lam high-class eco-tourism urban area project of more than 540ha, My Lam ward is accelerating the construction of 4 resettlement areas with a total area of nearly 6.9ha, arranging more than 540 residential land plots for affected households.
According to Mr. Vu Tien Hiep - Chairman of My Lam Ward People's Committee, technical infrastructure in resettlement areas is basically completed with internal traffic systems, lighting, water supply and drainage, green trees and landscapes being synchronously invested. To date, nearly 200 households have completed the lottery to receive resettlement lots.

Mr. Vuong Van Tam, a resident of My Lam 5 residential group, said that his family is reassured when the resettlement area is invested methodically, traffic is convenient, and the living environment is better than before.
Along with that, resettlement work serving the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project phase 1 is also being promoted. The project passing through the province has a section of 8.1km long, recovering nearly 76ha of land, involving 273 households and 4 organizations. The province plans to arrange 77 resettlement plots for households who have to relocate.
Mr. Tran Van Tuyen - Vice Chairman of Nhu Khe Commune People's Committee - said that the expressway through the commune is about 7.4km long, affecting about 200 households. The locality has completed the 6.2ha Cay Thi village resettlement area and handed it over to people to build houses.
For the Ho Chi Minh Road project section Cho Chu (Thai Nguyen) - Trung Son intersection (Tuyen Quang), the province is implementing 2 resettlement areas in Trung Son and Hung Loi communes. In which, the Hung Loi commune resettlement area arranged for 73 households has basically completed many essential infrastructure items, internal transportation and drainage systems reaching about 90% of the volume.
Meanwhile, the Trung Son commune resettlement area is still behind schedule due to terrain obstacles, waste disposal sites and ground leveling procedures. The Provincial People's Committee has requested units to focus on removing difficulties, mobilizing human resources and machinery to accelerate construction, ensure progress and limit the impact on people's lives.
According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Thuong - Director of Thinh Hung Co., Ltd., the unit has mobilized 8 excavators and more than 40 transport trucks, organizing continuous overtime construction to accelerate the progress of items according to plan.
