Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu An ward organized a groundbreaking ceremony to repair the Great Solidarity house for a poor household, which is the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ro, residing in Phu Thuan neighborhood, Phu An ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
The project has a budget of 80 million VND, aiming to repair and renovate the house, helping Ms. Nguyen Thi Ro's family have a more spacious and safe place to live.
Supporting the repair of Dai Doan Ket houses shows the concern and care of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations for households in difficult circumstances; thereby spreading the spirit of solidarity, joining hands to well implement social security work, towards the goal of "leaving no one behind".
This is a project to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2026) and the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2026).
On the same day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu An ward organized visits and presented 11 gifts to Agent Orange victims in the ward.
At the families visited, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward cordially inquired and encouraged the victims and their families, and at the same time presented gifts to share difficulties and add motivation for families to overcome difficulties in life.
The activity shows the spirit of "Mutual affection", "Remembering the source when drinking water", the concern of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the ward for families affected by Agent Orange/dioxin.
