At the Headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tay Ninh province - Phap Minh Pagoda (My Hanh commune), the Conference to announce and award decisions approving the personnel composition of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tay Ninh province for the 2026-2031 term was solemnly held, with the participation of venerable monks of the Central Sangha, Executive Boards at all levels and representatives of the provincial government.
Quang Lam proves that the conference was attended by elder Venerable Thich Thien Phap - Standing Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of GHPGVN; along with the Venerable Monks of the Patronage Council, the Executive Council and the Standing Committee of Office 2 of the Central Government. On the side of Buddhism in Tay Ninh province, there was Venerable Thich Quang Tam - Head of the Executive Committee cum Head of the Sangha Committee, and a large number of monks and nuns attending.
Representatives of the government included leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion, Provincial Police and local departments and agencies. This presence shows the companionship between the Church and the government in religious affairs, social security and building the great national unity bloc.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 135/QD-HDTS on approving the personnel of the Executive Board of GHPGVN Tay Ninh province for the first term (2026-2031), including 14 members of the Patronage Board, 12 members of the Patronage Sub-committee and 105 members of the Executive Board. Accordingly, Venerable Thich Quang Tam continues to hold the position of Head of the Executive Board.
Representatives of the Central Church and Venerable Monks successively handed over decisions to each department of the new Executive Board, showing inheritance and stability in the organization. On this occasion, the Provincial Executive Board also commended the merits of 13 collectives and 13 individuals who contributed to the success of the 1st Provincial Buddhist Congress.
Sangha leader, Venerable Thich Phuoc Nguyen acknowledged the efforts of Tay Ninh Buddhism, and at the same time emphasized the spirit of solidarity, compliance with precepts and laws, and continued to promote the application of digital transformation in Buddhist activities.
The conference closed in a spirit of harmony, opening a new stage of activities of Tay Ninh Buddhism according to the motto "Dao Phap - Dan Toc - Socialism", towards efficiency, discipline and sustainable development.
