Thai Nguyen organizes Ba Be tourism promotion art night

The art night "Heritage echoes in the great Ba Be forest" took place on the evening of May 16 in Ba Be commune (Thai Nguyen), attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.

On the evening of May 16, at the Bo Lu village festival yard, Ba Be commune, Thai Nguyen province, the art program "Heritage echoes in the great Ba Be forest" took place, according to VNA.

This is an activity within the series of opening programs of the Thai Nguyen tourism season 2026 with the theme "Lake on the mountain - Tea in the clouds", attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen province Ha Thi Bich Hong said that the program is a meaningful activity to promote the image of the land, people, cultural identity, ecotourism potential and unique heritage values of the province to domestic and international tourists.

At the same time, the program contributes to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic groups; arousing pride, solidarity, creating motivation to promote green tourism and community tourism associated with preserving the cultural identity of Viet Bac region.

The program is elaborately staged with 3 parts including: "Moon rises upstream", "Mix colors converge" and "Brightening the heritage region". The performances recreate the natural beauty of Ba Be Lake, the cultural life of ethnic minorities and the innovative rhythm of life in Viet Bac region today.

In the section "Moon rises upstream", the audience immerses themselves in a poetic art space through semi-realistic works "Me Lan", "Tea in the Clouds", depicting the beauty of Ba Be Lake and traditional cultural values preserved through many generations.

Colorful Convergence" brings Then singing - zither performances, traditional dances, folk belief excerpts and songs praising the homeland and people of Thai Nguyen, contributing to honoring the unique cultural identity of the ethnic communities of Viet Bac region.

Closing the program, the "Bừng sáng miền di sản" part created an impression with a youthful, modern atmosphere, expressing the aspiration for integration and development of Thai Nguyen. The performances "Khơi nguồn", "À lôi", "Người miền núi chất", "Tây-lai pro" and the ending part "Múa bát và hoa trà" left many impressions in the hearts of the audience.

The program gathers many artists, artisans, actors of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Ethnic Groups Art Troupe, Viet Bac College of Culture and Arts, and local art forces to participate in performances.
