On April 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Hai commune (HCMC) said that it had organized a working delegation to visit and wish Tet to Khmer people in Hai Phong 1 hamlet, on the occasion of the traditional Tet of Chol Chnam Thmay.
Through this, the delegation sent greetings and wishes to monks, Acha monks and all Khmer compatriots a joyful, warm, and happy Tet. At the same time, they acknowledged and praised the positive changes in people's lives.
The delegation also wished compatriots to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, maintain security and order, promote labor production, and contribute to building an increasingly developed locality.
During the Tet visit, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Hai commune presented 20 Tet gifts to Khmer households in difficult circumstances in the locality.
