On the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay Festival of the Lao ethnic groups, from April 9 to 11, a working delegation of the Hue City Border Guard Command led by Colonel Ton That Nguyen Dat - Deputy Commander-in-Chief, visited and wished a happy New Year to the Military and Police Commands of the two provinces of Kong and Salavan (Laos).
At the intimate meetings, Colonel Ton That Nguyen Dat sent his best New Year wishes to the officers, soldiers and people of the two provinces; at the same time, affirmed that the special friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos, especially between the armed forces of the two countries, will become increasingly close and strong, contributing to building a peaceful, stable and developing border.
Leaders of the Military Command and the Police of the secong and Salavan provinces expressed their deep gratitude for the affection and attention of the Hue City Border Guard, and pledged to continue to closely coordinate in border protection, maintaining security and order, contributing to fostering the growing development of bilateral relations.
This is a practical border defense foreign activity, demonstrating solidarity and cohesion between the armed forces of the two countries, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos in the new situation.
