Awarding over 6.1 billion VND worth of Vallet scholarships to 314 students

The 2026 Vallet Scholarship awards 314 scholarships to students in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions, with a total value of 6,171 billion VND.

On September 1st, at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), Quy Nhon Nam ward (Gia Lai), the "Meeting Vietnam" Science and Education Organization organized the Vallet Scholarship Awarding Ceremony in 2026 for 314 students in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions, with a total value of 6.171 billion VND.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Lam Hai Giang - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee; Prof. Tran Thanh Van - Chairman of the Science and Education Organization "Meeting Vietnam", Director of ICISE; Dr. Esperan Padonou - Vice Chairman, Executive Director of the Vallet Scholarship Fund, along with leaders of departments, branches, educational institutions, teachers and students.

In 2026, Vallet scholarships will be awarded to students from more than 70 high schools and 6 universities in Da Nang City and Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, and Dak Lak provinces.

Among the 314 scholarships, there are 218 for high school students and 49 for university students with outstanding achievements in study and scientific research. Many students won prizes at international, national, provincial and city-level exams. The program also offers 47 scholarships for students in difficult circumstances in areas of Binh Dinh and Phu Yen previously, affected by storms and floods in 2025.

Each scholarship is worth 17 million VND for students, and 34 million VND for students.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang acknowledged the contributions of the Vallet Fund, the "Meeting Vietnam" Organization, and professors and colleagues in discovering, nurturing, and supporting young talents.

He believes that the value of the Vallet Fund is not only in the scholarship fund but also contributes to training high-quality human resources. Timely support helps students have more conditions to study, research, access an advanced scientific environment and nurture the aspiration to contribute.

Gia Lai province affirmed that it will continue to accompany ICISE, creating conditions for international scientific connection activities, discovering and nurturing young talents.

Professor Tran Thanh Van expressed his pleasure that the program continues to accompany students with capacity, willpower and outstanding achievements, and at the same time wished them to continue to study, train and develop their talents to contribute to the country.

From 2001 to now, more than 55,000 Vallet scholarships, with a total value of about 600 billion VND, have been awarded to students in Vietnam.
