THANH TUẤN |

Gia Lai - When the floodwaters rose, Mr. Dinh took shelter on a raft in the Ba River and went missing.

On November 21, Uar Commune Police said they were supporting the search for the whereabouts of Mr. Nong Van Dinh (born in 1979, residing in Phuoc Son Commune, Dong Nai Province).

According to information provided by the family, on November 18, Mr. Nong Van Dinh avoided floods on an iron raft anchored in the Ba River bank, in Ia Sao commune, Gia Lai province.

At around 8:00 a.m. on November 19, the family lost contact with Mr. Dinh, so they coordinated with the authorities to search and discovered that the raft had been swept away by water and ran aground in the Ba River bank area.

The location of the stranded island was about 1.5 km from the original anchorage, in Pham village, Uar commune, Gia Lai province, but Mr. Dinh was not found on the raft.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Commune Police coordinated with the family and local residents to organize the search. Up to now, the whereabouts of Mr. Nong Van Dinh have not been discovered.
