On April 2nd, Border Guard Stations under the Border Guard (BĐBP) of Tuyen Quang province organized joint patrols to enforce the law in the first quarter of 2026 with the border protection force on the Chinese side.
In Tung Vai commune, Tung Vai Border Guard Station coordinated with Tu Truc Ba Border Police Station (China) to organize joint patrols and law enforcement in the border area.

The Vietnamese patrol team is led by Lieutenant Colonel Pham Hung - Deputy Head of Tung Vai Border Guard Station - as team leader.
Tung Vai Border Guard Station manages and protects over 33 km of border adjacent to China.
In harsh weather conditions and dangerous terrain, the two sides' forces conducted patrols from landmark 291/2 to 292 on the border line.
During the patrol, the two sides strictly complied with foreign policy principles, conducted inspections and comparisons of the current status of the national border marker system, and cleared patrol roads.
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Hung - Deputy Head of Tung Vai Border Guard Station - said: "At the patrol, the forces of the two sides exchanged and evaluated the coordination work, management information, and protection on the border line in the first quarter of 2026.
At the same time, agree on a number of contents to be implemented in the coming time; the focus is on fighting and preventing crime, maintaining security and order.

In Nghia Thuan commune, Nghia Thuan Border Guard Station also coordinated with Bat Bo Border Police Station (China) to organize patrols in the border area from landmark 323 to landmark 325.
Through patrols, it was shown that the border area and landmarks were kept in their original state, with no signs of movement or damage. The security and order situation in the border area was maintained; no signs of violation were detected.
Nghia Thuan Border Guard Station currently manages and protects over 20 km of border adjacent to China in Nghia Thuan commune, Can Ty.
Joint patrol activities are carried out seriously and in accordance with border guard foreign affairs regulations. From there, it contributes to consolidating the relationship of solidarity and friendship between the two forces, maintaining territorial sovereignty and national border security.
