Buon Ma Thuot Ward Police (Dak Lak) has just organized a legal dissemination conference for about 150 delegates who are village elders, village heads, prestigious people, members of village self-management boards and representatives of departments, branches, and mass organizations in the area.
The conference aims to raise awareness and sense of law compliance of village elders, hamlet heads, prestigious people and ethnic minorities; promote the role of the core force at the grassroots level in propagating and mobilizing people to participate in protecting national security, maintaining political security, order, and social safety.
At the conference, representatives of the Internal Security Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police informed about the security situation in ethnic minority areas; methods and tricks of hostile forces and reactionary elements taking advantage of ethnic and religious issues to incite and divide the great national unity bloc. The reporter also disseminated regulations on national security protection, guiding the identification of bad and toxic information in cyberspace, raising vigilance, and not assisting in law violations.
Through the program, delegates are equipped with more knowledge and skills to propagate and mobilize people to comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; actively detect and denounce crimes and promptly provide information to the police force.
On this occasion, the ward police continued to deploy the skillful mass mobilization model "Strengthening the connection between people and the police force", creating a two-way exchange channel for people to reflect on security and order issues.
At the same time, the unit launched the model "Exchanging gifts for weapons, explosives, support tools and firecrackers", mobilizing people to voluntarily hand over weapons illegally stored. Right at the program, the police force received 6 guns and 10 knives of various types voluntarily handed over by people.
After the conference, Buon Ma Thuot Ward Police organized patrols on roads, residential areas and key areas to proactively prevent crime, ensure security and order, contributing to building a solid people's security posture from the grassroots level.
