On the afternoon of October 20, Naval Region 2 organized a meeting, exchange and Ao Dai performance program in 2025, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025) and Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.
The program is an opportunity for female cadres and members of agencies and units to exchange and share experiences, strengthen solidarity, and at the same time honor the beauty of the Vietnamese Ao Dai - a cultural symbol and traditional charm of Vietnamese women. The activity also contributes to preserving and spreading national cultural values, towards the Women's Congresses at all levels in the Region, the Army, the Army and the 14th National Women's Congress.
The highlight of the series of activities is the photo contest "Ao Dai Dong Canh Song" in 2025. After 4 weeks of launching, the Organizing Committee received more than 150 entries from women's union members of agencies and units under the Region, Navy units in the Southern region and women's union units. The works closely follow the theme, vividly depicting the image of Navy women in Ao Dai in the sea and sky of the Fatherland; on ships, stations, islands, DK1 platform houses; depicting the beauty of a woman who is both gentle and resilient at the head of the storm.

After the preliminary round, 40 excellent works were selected for the final round and voted online. In just 1 week, the contest attracted more than a thousand interactions, creating a positive effect, spreading the image of a devoted, brave, and patriotic Navy woman.
Speaking at the program, Colonel Do Hong Duyen - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 2 acknowledged and commended the efforts, persistent and silent contributions of the staff and women's union of Naval Region 2 in particular and women in the Navy in general. The Deputy Political Commissar emphasized: "The dedication, thoughtfulness, skill and responsibility of the comrades have contributed to building a strong Association organization, contributing to building a comprehensively strong, exemplary and exemplary unit."
Colonel Do Hong Duyen believes that, with the spirit of "Confidence - Self-respect - Loyalty - Responsibility", Navy women will continue to promote the fine tradition of Army women, strive to achieve more outstanding achievements, worthy of being "good at public affairs, good at housework".

One of the special contents of the exchange program was the Ao Dai performance of more than 170 women from the women's association of the Southern Navy units and the unit of solidarity; with the theme: "Continuing the story of peace - Coming to the people of Vietnam", carrying a message of the aspiration for peace, love for the homeland, country and national pride.
At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 16 prizes to individuals with achievements in the "Ao Dai Dong Canh Song" Photo Contest.
