On May 27, the Party Committee of Vung Tau Ward organized a Conference to commend and reward typical collectives and individuals in "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style" in 2026; preliminary review of 1 year of operating the overall organizational model of the ward's political system in the 2-level local government model.
According to the Vung Tau Ward Party Committee, the commendation of typical collectives and individuals has widespread significance, creating motivation for emulation in labor, study, and work following Uncle Ho's example. Thereby setting examples for cadres, party members, and people in the area to aim for, constantly train, and strive to successfully complete assigned tasks.
In the 2-level local government model, although there are still many difficulties and challenges after 1 year of implementation, with the determination of the entire political system and the consensus of the people, it has gradually operated stably and smoothly, serving the people better and better.
Administrative reform and digital transformation have achieved many positive results; the rate of online dossiers reached 92.9%; the level of satisfaction of people and businesses has increased through many models serving people that are maintained and promoted effectively. Currently, Vung Tau ward has risen to 12th/168 communes and wards of Ho Chi Minh City in the ranking of administrative reform.
On this occasion, Vung Tau ward also awarded certificates of merit to 14 collectives and 37 individuals with outstanding achievements in Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in 2026. At the same time, 31 collectives and 24 individuals with outstanding achievements in 1 year of operating under the 2-level local government model were commended.
