On April 13, information from the Ministry of Ethnic and Religion said that up to now, the whole country has supported the elimination of temporary houses and dilapidated houses to be 195,068 units, of which inauguration of 93,370 units and new construction of 101,698 units.
In supporting the deletion of 195,068 temporary houses, the aforementioned dilapidated houses have 20,444 apartments that support housing for people with meritorious services to the revolution; 62.116 apartments are subject to housing support according to two national target programs and 112,508 houses are under the housing support under the program of erasing temporary houses and dilapidated houses.
Also according to the Ministry of Ethnic and Religion, from November 5, April, there have been three more localities decided to consolidate the provincial Steering Committee to delete temporary houses and dilapidated houses including Tay Ninh, Tuyen Quang and Lang Son.
Notably, the Ministry of Ethnic and Religion has just sent a written request to localities to review the need to support the elimination of temporary houses and dilapidated houses; Report to prepare the 4th session of the Steering Committee.
Recently, from the central to localities across the country are highly determined, great efforts to complete the goal of erasing temporary houses and dilapidated houses in 2025 under the program "Joining hands to erase temporary houses and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister.
Ha Tinh province has started construction of 1,410 houses for poor and near -poor households as planned (reaching 100%). Up to now, nearly 400 houses have been completed and put into use.
The steering committee erasing temporary houses and dilapidated houses of Ha Tinh province decided to assign 10 units to assume the lead in the implementation of the program of erasing temporary houses and dilapidated houses in 10 districts.
Some localities have also reviewed and decided to adjust the need to erase temporary houses and dilapidated houses. Typically, Khanh Hoa province approved the need to erase temporary houses and dilapidated houses after reviewing 1,326 units, including 462 newly built and repaired 864 units.
Lai Chau province approves the need to erase temporary houses and dilapidated houses after the review of 3,699 units, of which 3,218 units have been built, repaired 481 units.
Other localities across the country are accelerating the progress to complete the temporary house and dilapidated houses ahead of time according to the set plan. Typically, Can Tho City strives to complete before 25.4; Vinh Long province strives to complete before 10.5.2025.
