On May 18, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that the police of Viet Hong and Bac Ha communes had just received and praised many beautiful actions of people and students in the area when they proactively handed over found property to find and return it to the person who dropped it.
These are simple but meaningful humane actions, contributing to spreading the spirit of beautiful living, sense of responsibility to the community and consolidating the movement "All people protect national security" at the grassroots level.
Specifically, on the afternoon of May 16, Viet Hong Commune Police received an iPhone 16 Pro phone voluntarily brought by 3 students in the area to hand over to find the owner.

Previously, at about 4:30 pm on the same day, while playing in the area near Ao Xanh Guesthouse, Hoang Minh Oanh (born 2013, residing in hamlet 3A), Sa Hoang Phi (born 2011, residing in hamlet 3A) and Nguyen Quynh Anh (born 2013, residing in hamlet 3B) discovered a lost phone.
After picking up the property, instead of keeping it, all 3 children quickly brought it to the Viet Hong Commune Police headquarters to ask for support in verifying and returning it to the loser.
Through verification, the phone belonged to Ms. Le Thi My (born 2002, residing in Lao Dong village). Immediately after that, the Commune Police contacted and returned the property to the owner in accordance with regulations.
It is known that Hoang Minh Oanh and Nguyen Quynh Anh are currently 7B grade students, and Sa Hoang Phi is 9A grade student, Viet Cuong Primary and Secondary School.
Viet Hong Commune Police highly appreciated the honesty, sense of responsibility and beautiful actions of the students; and at the same time wished that the beautiful gestures would continue to spread widely in the community.
Also on May 16, at about 4 pm, Bac Ha Commune Police received a report from Ms. Vang Thi Ha (born in 1990, residing in Hau Dao village) about picking up a black wallet and wanting to find the person who dropped it to return it.

Through inspection, inside the wallet were citizen identification cards, driver's licenses, vehicle registrations in the name of Ms. Giang Thi Pha (born 1998, residing in Ban Pho 2C village) and 2,586,000 VND in cash.
Immediately after receiving the information, Bac Ha Commune Police urgently verified and contacted the property owner. At about 4:45 pm on the same day, all papers and money were fully returned to Ms. Giang Thi Pha.
Receiving her lost property back, Ms. Giang Thi Pha could not hide her joy and emotion, and at the same time sent her thanks to Ms. Vang Thi Ha and Bac Ha Commune Police officers for their dedicated support.
According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, the honest and meaningful actions of the people, along with the spirit of responsibility, closeness to the people, and serving the people of the grassroots police force, have contributed to spreading positive values in society, building a beautiful image of the people of the highlands and the People's Police force in the hearts of the people.
