Vietnamese cuisine continues to make its mark in the Top 100 best dishes in the world 2026 of the famous culinary website Taste Atlas thanks to its excellent flavor and cultural depth.
Many traditional dishes attracted attention from international media when they were chosen by many heads of state of countries to experience during their visit to Vietnam.
Beef pho
Pho bo has long been a familiar name in Taste Atlas rankings and represents the culinary quintessence of the country.
The appeal of the dish lies in the sweet stewed bone broth, soft and chewy pho noodles blended with delicious fresh beef slices and a pungent aroma of anise and cinnamon.

Most recently, pho once again attracted attention when on April 23, within the framework of a state visit to Vietnam, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and his wife Kim Hae Kyung stopped to have dinner at Ly Quoc Su pho restaurant (No. 40 Dinh Liet, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi). Both gave many compliments and expressed their interest in enjoying a dish imbued with Vietnamese traditional flavors.
Bun cha
Along with pho, bun cha is also a Vietnamese dish that is in the Top 100 of Taste Atlas this year. Bun cha has become a global phenomenon since former US President Barack Obama came to a small restaurant to enjoy it during a visit to Hanoi exactly 10 years ago - May 2016.
The perfect combination of fragrant charcoal grilled pork, sweet and sour fish sauce and fresh vermicelli has helped the vermicelli become "invincible" in the list of impressive street food experiences of Vietnam.
Quang noodles
In Taste Atlas's 2026 list of honors, Quang noodles have attracted the attention of international fashionistas with their characteristic rich flavor. The highlight lies in the large noodles, the broth is cooked condensed, sprinkled with buttery roasted peanuts, served with fresh green vegetables.

This is a rustic gift associated with local people for many generations, fully conveying the rustic and liberal spirit of the sunny and windy Central region.
Mansion
Along with Quang noodles, cao lau also makes a strong impression on the gourmet community with its unique texture. The dish stands out with chewy noodles, rich shredded pork and fresh herbs.
Although undergoing many changes over time, Cao Lau still retains its original features, becoming a unique symbol that any tourist wants to find and experience when setting foot in Da Nang, Quang Nam.
Southern beef noodle soup
Besides bun rieu, hu tieu or banh da cua, Southern beef noodle soup is another prominent representative named in the Top 100 list of Taste Atlas 2026.
Not using hot broth, the bowl of vermicelli scores points thanks to its coolness and complete nutrition with soft stir-fried beef, green vegetables and sweet and sour fish sauce mixed well.
