The International Food Festival is known as one of the annual events to promote cultural and culinary exchanges, with the participation of embassies, foreign cultural centers, foreign affairs departments representing provinces and cities, businesses and units in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Mr. Hoang Thai Ha - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Diplomatic Service Department, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, the 2024 International Food Festival will have the theme "Gastronomy of Unity - Connecting Cuisine".
This is not only an opportunity to introduce and promote the culinary culture of countries, but also an opportunity to promote and honor the cultural beauty of Vietnam, promote cultural diplomacy, enhance the national image and further expand and promote the spirit of international cooperation.
The 2024 International Food Festival also promises to be a meeting place for domestic and foreign tourists to experience the quintessential and diverse flavors of cuisine. At the same time, the event creates opportunities to learn about and enjoy the culinary flavors associated with the cultures of countries.
Unlike previous years, this year's festival is not only a place to introduce Vietnam's special dishes but also brings a unique culinary experience journey with more than 70 international culinary booths from about 60 countries. In addition, there are elaborate food performances, exciting and lively activities of the Beer Festival, gift-giving games and unique experiences such as: Culinary Passport; Cuisine on a plate; Five Continents Kitchen...
The program also serves as a bridge connecting cultures through each dish, from traditional flavors to modern culinary creations, while honoring harmony and diplomatic connections between countries.
