With 60 diverse food stalls, from traditional ethnic dishes to modern dishes, visitors will feel like they are lost in a culinary journey exploring three regions.
The stalls are always crowded with people, especially attracting the attention of tourists are the typical dishes of localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Kon Tum, Thua Thien Hue... Each stall brings a unique culinary story, making diners excited and surprised.
The stalls of Dien Bien province also left a deep impression with the typical dishes of the Thai ethnic group. Mr. Pham Van Thu - a tourist from Nam Dinh, said: "I don't remember how many times I have been to Dien Bien, but every time I come, I find this a wonderful place, the people are very friendly. The cuisine here is also very impressive, especially the Thai ethnic dishes with their own unique mountain and forest flavors."
Anh Thu added that although she has been to many places, she has never enjoyed such delicious food as here. “Every time I eat Dien Bien rice, I am taken back to my childhood, with its delicious, sweet and unforgettable flavor. I hope that Dien Bien rice will become more and more known,” said Mr. Thu.
From familiar dishes such as pho, Hue beef noodle soup, and green rice sausage to unique highland specialties such as thang co, five-color sticky rice, and smoked meat... each stall offers a unique flavor that is hard for diners to resist.
Traveling nearly 1,000 km, people from Thua Thien Hue province brought to the Food Festival the specialty “Che Hue Co Anh”. The booth representative said: “We are very happy to display our booth in Dien Bien for the first time. This is an opportunity to introduce Hue specialty che to tourists from the Northwest”.
With over 20 types of tea, from traditional tea to unique roasted pork tea, longan wrapped in lotus seeds, it will surely satisfy all tastes. All types of tea have the same price of 30,000 VND/cup.
The National Food Festival is a highlight event in the series of activities of the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024, bringing visitors an unforgettable culinary experience.
