Hanoi - Thai Festival 2026 brings visitors the opportunity to experience the culinary flavors of the Land of the Golden Temple right in the heart of the Capital.

Thai Festival 2026 is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM from now until March 29th at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Relic Site. The festival attracts a large number of young people, families and international tourists to participate in learning about Thai culture and enjoying Thai cuisine.

The stalls are always crowded with people shopping and eating specialties. Some stalls have fallen into a "sold out" situation, participants line up to enjoy typical Thai dishes.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam, owner of a food stall at the festival, said that the dishes are all based on the original Thai recipe, but there are certain adjustments to suit diners' tastes.

Original Thai cuisine is usually quite spicy and flavorful. When bringing it to the festival, we have balanced the flavor to be more suitable for Vietnamese people and international tourists, but still retain the inherent characteristics," he affirmed.

Familiar dishes such as Thai sweet soup, tom yum or Thai milk tea attract tourists. In particular, Thai mango sticky rice impresses with its soft, fragrant sticky rice, served with slices of ripe mango that are golden and sweet. The coconut milk is smooth, fatty, mixed with a bit of saltiness, harmoniously blended with the sweetness of mangoes.

The price of savory dishes ranges from 35,000 - 65,000 VND, while snacks are priced at about 15,000 - 30,000 VND, accompanied by many promotions such as buy 1 get 1 free.

Visiting the culinary space at the festival, Nguyen Minh Anh (21 years old, Hanoi) said: "I find Thai food has a distinctly sour and spicy taste. I like the way the dishes are presented eye-catchingly, you want to try them right away. The space here also creates a feeling like you are in a miniature Thai market.

Mr. Tran Duc Huy (30 years old, Quang Ninh) assessed that the flavor at the food stalls is quite easy to eat. "I used to eat Thai food, but when I ate at the festival, I found the flavor somewhat easier to eat, not too spicy as I thought. Thanks to that, I can enjoy it more fully and feel the sour and sweet taste very clearly," he shared.

In addition to a unique and interesting culinary space, the festival will bring many special activities such as Muay Thai performances, traditional dances... Free outdoor movie screenings will take place from 7pm - 8pm on March 28 and March 29.
