Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong emphasized: The Thai Festival in Hanoi 2026 is a special event organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand. This is an important historical milestone affirming the strong friendship, strategic trust and common vision for peace, stability, cooperation and joint development.

In particular, Thai Festival 2026 also brings outdoor film screenings in the heart of the ancient Imperial Citadel. Films about the friendship between the two countries will be screened throughout the 3 days of the festival.
In addition, two famous blockbusters, The Con-Heartist and Beauty and the Beat, will be screened on March 28th and 29th respectively, promising to bring joyful moments to visitors.
