In addition to the tourism stimulus strategy by continuously organizing national and international-scale sports events, Gia Lai province also tightens tourism environment management to build an image of a safe and friendly destination.
From July 23rd to August 1st, the 2026 National Beach Soccer Championship takes place at Quy Nhon beach with the participation of 8 teams. This is the season with the largest number of participating teams ever, reflecting the increasing attraction of beach soccer as well as the interest of localities in this sport. The organizers said that preparations for the pitch, facilities, security, health and logistics have been completed.
Next, from May 2 - August 8, the 9th Vietnam International Traditional Martial Arts Festival will gather 15 international delegations and hundreds of martial artists and students from many countries. Parallel to the festival is the National Traditional Martial Arts Club Championship with about 750 coaches and athletes participating. The event contributes to promoting the values of Vietnamese traditional martial arts and introducing the cultural identity of Gia Lai to international friends.
To serve events, the province recruits a team of volunteers with foreign languages, deploys a free toilet model at locations with the logo "Comfortable as at home", and at the same time strengthens activities to support tourists.
In addition to creating attraction with tournaments and festivals, Gia Lai also requests to rectify tourism business activities. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed to strictly handle acts of price squeezing, unreasonable price increases, soliciting, competing for customers, trade fraud and providing unqualified services.
The locality determines to take tourist satisfaction as a measure of management and service quality. The goal is to build Gia Lai into a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Memorable" destination, developing tourism based on service quality, culture of behavior and long-term reputation.
