The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is strong at level 6 (39-49 km/h), gusting at level 8. The tropical depression is moving in the Northwest direction at a speed of about 10 km/h.
It is forecasted that by 13:00 on September 13, the tropical depression will continue to move in the Northwest direction at a speed of about 10 km/h. The center of the tropical depression is likely to be at about 17.1 degrees North latitude - 108.1 degrees East longitude, over the sea area of Quang Tri - Hue City, about 130 km east of Quang Tri and about 90 km northeast of Hue City.
At this time, the tropical depression maintains intensity level 6, gusts level 8. The meteorological agency warns of disaster risk level 3 in the western Hoang Sa special zone and the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai.
By 13:00 on September 14, the tropical depression is forecast to move in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of 10-15 km/h. The center of the system is likely at about 17.8 degrees North latitude; 105.3 degrees East longitude, over the Central Laos area.
At this time, the tropical depression gradually weakened into a low pressure area, intensity below level 6. Disaster risk level 3 is warned in the sea area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang City.
Due to the influence of the tropical depression, on the day and night of September 12, the area from Ha Tinh to the north of Quang Tri will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, rainfall of 40–80mm, locally over 150mm.
From the South of Quang Tri to Da Nang City and the East of Quang Ngai, there will be heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms, rainfall of 100–200mm, locally over 300mm.
Day and night of September 13, area from southern Nghe An to Hue City: heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms, rainfall 80-180mm, locally over 300mm.
Thanh Hoa to North Nghe An, Da Nang City and East Quang Ngai have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, rainfall 30-70mm, locally over 120mm.
The Northern Delta has moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, rainfall of 20-40mm, locally over 60mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain intensity over 100mm/3h.
At sea, the sea area west of the Hoang Sa special zone and the sea area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai have strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8, waves 2.0-4.0 m high, rough seas.
