According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), at around 16 July 3, the low pressure is likely to become a moderate tropical depression in the next 24 hours.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the low pressure area will move slowly in the West Northwest direction and is likely to strengthen into a tropical depression.
