Hanoi temporarily bans roads and traffic diversion on many central streets around August Revolution Square (Cua Nam ward) from 2 PM on January 31st.

Hanoi City Police said that on January 31, at August Revolution Square, the program "Light Concert - Welcoming the New Year 2026" will take place. To ensure security, safety and serve the event organization, functional forces are implementing a plan to temporarily ban, restrict vehicles and organize alternative directions on many streets.

East, Northeast direction (Gia Lam, Long Bien, Phuc Loi, Viet Hung...) to West, Northwest (Hai Ba Trung, Dong Da, Tu Liem, O Dien...): through Nhat Tan bridge, Long Bien bridge, Vinh Tuy bridge, Thanh Tri bridge - to De 401, Tran Nhat Duat, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien, Vo Chi Cong, Ring Road III and vice versa.

North direction (Tay Ho, Dong Anh...) to South (Hoang Mai, Thanh Tri...): through Nhat Tan bridge, Thang Long bridge - to Vo Chi Cong, Pham Van Dong, Pham Hung, Ring Road II, Ring Road III and vice versa.
