According to the weather forecast from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the period from June 21 to July 20, 2025, in the East Sea, the number of storms and tropical depressions is likely to be equivalent to the average of many years.
One to two storms or tropical depressions may appear in the East Sea, which may affect the mainland.

It is forecasted that there may still be storms or tropical depressions that directly affect our mainland (on average, there are about 1.4 storms in the East Sea for many years, of which about 0.7 are likely to make landfall).
Extreme weather phenomena such as storms, tropical depressions and the southwest monsoon can cause strong winds and large waves at sea, directly affecting maritime and ship activities.
At the same time, heavy rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes and lightning can also negatively affect agricultural production, public health and technical infrastructure safety.
In bad weather conditions, especially when there are thunderstorms, gusts of wind, or heavy rain, visitors should absolutely avoid water activities. Sudden thunderstorms can cause coastal tornadoes, strong gusts of wind and dangerous offshore flows.
Priority should be given to beaches with rescue forces, warning and medical support systems such as Cua Lo, Sam Son, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc...
Avoid underdeveloped coastal areas or rugged terrain if traveling with children and the elderly.
