According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the low pressure trough with an axis at about 12-14 degrees North latitude connects with a low pressure area at 1:00 p.m. located at about 12.5-13.50N; 112.5-1 13.50E.
On the night of October 10 and October 11, the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone), the Central and South East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone), the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind of level 6-7, and waves over 2.0m high.
All ships operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
Weather forecast for the regions from the night of October 10 to October 11, the Northern and North Central regions will have rain in some places at night, fog in some places in the early morning, and sunny days.
The area from Quang Tri to Lam Dong and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain (the Central Highlands and the South will have concentrated rain in the afternoon and evening).

Meanwhile, floods on Cau River, Thuong River (Bac Ninh), and Trung River (Lang Son) are receding.
Flood forecast on Cau River at Dap Cau Station, Thuong River at Phu Lang Thuong Station, Trung River at Huu Lung Station continues to decrease and remain above level 3.
In the next 12-24 hours, floods on the Cau River at Dap Cau Station, on the Thuong River at Phu Lang Thuong Station will continue to fall and remain above level 3.
In the next 24 hours, floods on the Luc Nam River (Bac Ninh) at Luc Nam Station, floods on the Thai Binh River (Hai Phong) at Pha Lai Station will decrease and remain above level 1.
Widespread flooding in Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Lang Son provinces will continue for the next 2-3 days; there is a risk of riverbank, river dike and landslides on steep slopes in the above areas.
