The Northern Delta, Phu Tho South and the area from Thanh Hoa to North Quang Tri will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, common rainfall of 100-200mm, locally over 300mm.
From the afternoon of August 19 to August 20, southern Quang Tri to Hue City will have moderate to heavy rain, common rainfall of 40-70mm, locally over 120mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain with intensity over 100mm in 3 hours.
In the evening and night of August 18, the Central Highlands and Southern regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, rainfall of 15-30mm, locally over 70mm. Tourists need to be wary of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.
