The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (May 30) in regions across the country.
From the evening of May 29 to May 31, the Southern region and Lam Dong province are forecast to experience moderate rain, heavy rain with thunderstorms, many places with very heavy rain with common rainfall from 60-120mm, locally over 250mm. Notably, there is a risk of heavy rain with strong intensity over 100mm within 3 hours.
In addition, in the evening and night of May 29, the Northern and North Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, common rainfall of 15-30mm, locally over 100mm. The eastern provinces from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa and many places in the Central Highlands region also have showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally over 60mm.
The meteorological agency warns that from the night of May 31st, heavy rain in the South and Lam Dong province will tend to gradually decrease.
