From the evening and night of January 2nd to January 22nd, Hanoi began to be affected by a strong cold air wave, causing scattered showers and a deep drop in temperature.

Starting from January 21, Hanoi weather will turn cold, with severe cold in some places, with the lowest temperature at night commonly 12-14 degrees C, the highest during the day only about 16-18 degrees C.

Some weather applications forecast that the lowest temperature may drop to 11 degrees Celsius. Strong winds and reduced humidity can cause the perceived temperature to drop to about 10 degrees Celsius.

The cold situation continues to persist in the following days, especially around January 22-23, the mountainous and midland regions of the North are likely to experience severe cold and harmful cold, leading to affecting Hanoi's weather.
