Choosing a destination suitable for young children
When traveling with young children, safety and convenience should be put first. Parents should prioritize destinations with a mild climate, not too crowded, and short travel time to avoid making children tired.
Resorts, homestays that are friendly to children or locations with green spaces and private playgrounds will help children feel more comfortable. Avoid overly dense schedules and continuous movement between many locations.

Prepare luggage fully but compactly
Luggage for young children needs to be prepared more carefully than adults. Indispensable items include: spare clothes, diapers, milk, weaning food, water bottles, basic medicines (antipyretics, digestive enzymes, insecticides... ).
However, parents should also minimize it, to avoid being bulky. You can take advantage of laundry services at your accommodation or buy additional services at the destination if needed.

Flexible scheduling
Young children are easily tired and difficult to adapt to changes, so the schedule needs to be flexible. You should spend time resting between activities, prioritizing light experiences such as walking, swimming, and short sightseeing.
Young children may encounter unexpected situations such as illness, crying, or changing their daily routine. Therefore, parents should prepare contingency plans such as choosing accommodation near medical facilities, possibly changing schedules or returning early if necessary.
