    Located in Lai Chau province, about 30km from the center of Sa Pa town, Chu Va 12 and Can Chua Thia Sang are trekking spots that challenge the most experienced climbers with the difficulty of the route, ranked among the top in Vietnam.

    Photographer Le Cao Hai has been cherishing to conquer this route for the past few years. For him, Chu Va 12 is the "hottest" mountain of all the peaks he has ever set foot on in Vietnam.

    Can Chua Thia Sang peak is 2,403m high and Chu Va 12 peak is 2,751m high, with fierce challenges for climbers. This mountain peak belongs to the Hoang Lien Son range.

    "The slope connects with the slope, the up and down are unstoppable. Climbers almost do not have long breaks, because just a short break will start to leak, and their legs will fall back when not good. Therefore, climbers have a fixed mind: only climb, climb to the top, then breathe," said the famous photographer.

    After a long journey, conquering Chu Va 12, Mr. Hai felt that this experience was truly worth it: "The price you receive when you set foot on the top of the mountain is... unpredictable. It is a sense of adventure, a cool freedom in every breath. These are the chilly times running along my back when I look back at the steep cliffs I just passed through. It was the moment of realizing: when we fully immerse ourselves in the mountains and forests, we will touch many layers of emotion that there are never in an urban place".
