China - This is one of the special trends attracting single female tourists in the populous country. Some Vietnamese tourists have the opportunity to experience this service.

During a 20-day trip to Guangzhou city, China, Ms. Tran Thi Ha Lan (32 years old, Thai Nguyen) experienced the hourly boyfriend rental service. Recently, this special service has received much attention on Vietnamese social networks.

Ms. Ha Lan tried to find an hourly boyfriend rental service according to the instructions of a famous Chinese application. The basic information of "short-term" boyfriends is displayed quite fully about height, weight... This service allows users to have many choices with different prices, for a minimum of 3 hours a day.

Experiencing the service for the first time, Ms. Ha Lan booked a date with a rather young boyfriend, with a cost of about 800,000 VND for 4 hours. This person was commented by the female tourist as very gallant, driving to pick him up and drop him off. Even, the guy has very professional photography and filming skills.

After that, the two also participated in the famous New Year's Eve balloon flying festival at Guangzhou Tower on New Year's Eve. This is where people and tourists gather to fly balloons, sending wishes for the new year at the moment of brilliant fireworks in the sky.

The next time, Ms. Ha Lan hired a soái ca for a cost of more than one million VND for 4 hours (about 260,000 VND/hour). This person was commented by Vietnamese tourists: "This guy is very dedicated and took me to the night market in Guangzhou, eating... He also took photos and filmed very professionally and even bought a bouquet of flowers for me".

However, Ms. Ha Lan pointed out that: "Both of the male friends I met in real life do not look as much like on photos posted on social networks because photo editing applications are quite developed".

Although called "boyfriend hire", the nature of this service is quite similar to hiring a local tour guide and comes with the "privileges" of a romantic date.

When booking services, the guys will schedule entertainment, taking customers to familiar check-in locations of locals.

The accompanying "privileges" that female customers receive are experiences such as dating their lovers, with small details such as picking up and dropping off, carrying things, taking photos... Even some services allow gentle intimate gestures such as holding hands or kissing cheeks.

In recent years, in the populous country, boyfriend rental services have become quite popular. This is a quite attractive service, especially for single women. However, this is only a temporary companion rental service, serving social needs, entertainment or role-playing.

The rental price ranges from 50 - 200 yuan/hour (about several hundred thousand to several million VND) depending on the time and choice of the hirer. This service in China is often favored by single girls when their families urge them to find a lover or get married, especially during Tet holidays.

In addition, this service also has many other versions such as hiring online boyfriends for online chat, hiring boyfriends for special events...

Boyfriend or girlfriend rental services are also developing in Japan, with many websites providing transparent prices and experiences that bring interaction like close friends of the opposite sex. Photo: Freepik

The special version exclusively for tourists must mention the service of hiring soái ca to take them for a walk by large displacement motorbike in Chongqing, or a handsome man carrying snowmobiles in Harbin. These services are more expensive, serving the needs of check-in photos and video recordings of female tourists on the tourist route.

Services are also developing strongly in Japan, South Korea and Thailand, with the experience of hiring male models to accompany them on street walks, or handsome men serving at restaurants, fashion stores...

This service has been introduced to Vietnam with the experience of hiring handsome guys to take them for walks in Ho Chi Minh City on large displacement motorbikes, priced at nearly 2 million VND. The operation is transformed to suit the tastes, culture and spending levels of Vietnamese customers.
