The Thuong horse mascot of artisan Bui Van Quan (33 years old, Tan Son village, Hop Thinh commune) is becoming the focus of attention during the Binh Ngo Tet 2026. As soon as it was launched, this mascot was officially transferred for 222. 222. 222 VND. The young artisan shared that this number symbolizes "forever and sustainability".
Initially, Mr. Quan planned to auction Ngua Thuong for charity. However, a female customer in the locality contacted and offered to buy it back. After a week of exchange, the work officially returned to its new owner.
The reason he decided to sell the mascot directly is to promptly have funds to carry out charity activities. For him, selling the work is not just a commercial transaction, but a way to spread love before the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
All the money from the sale of the work is fully used to prepare for Tet for the poor in four communes of Bac Ninh province: Hiep Hoa, Hop Thinh, Hoang Van and Xuan Cam.

Not choosing the image of a brave war horse or a successful horse following the beaten path, Mr. Quan entrusts to Ngua Thuong the image of a carefree, innocent "horse baby". The work carries a message about a gentle new year, without worries.
Anh Quan confided that the name "Thuong" was chosen by him because it is one of the most beautiful Vietnamese words, containing both love and compassion.

The work is strongly impressive with its enormous size when it has a height of nearly 4.8m and a total weight of up to 11 tons, including the base. Completely made from solid reinforced concrete material, the statue is the result of a meticulous handmade block building and polishing process over 20 days and nights.
The highlight of the work lies in the ingenious combination of strength and soul. Each muscle fiber is shaped firmly, strongly, harmoniously contrasting with the bright, sincere eyes.
After being colored, the cute appearance of the giant horse quickly caused a social media fever.

Mr. Bui Van Quan was originally a former bridge and road engineer who turned to art. Leaving the city and returning to his hometown to build a farm, he found his true passion in creating mascot shapes. In this year's trio of horse mascots, in addition to the War Horse, he also created two companions, the Happy Horse and the Happy Horse.
