The 5-day National Day holiday is a favorable opportunity for tourists to explore the Northern mountains. Many localities have prepared a series of new cultural, artistic, sports and tourism products.
Jubilant Independence Day in the Northwest
In Moc Chau (Son La), Culture - Tourism Week takes place from August 27 to September 5, gathering nearly 1,500 artisans, actors and athletes.
The International Brocade Night Festival on the evening of August 31st opened up a space of brilliant colors. On the evening of September 1st, the program "Moc Chau - Call of Love Season" closed with a fireworks display of about 10 minutes.
On the streets, visitors can watch khen performances, folk songs, folk dances; experience throwing pao, pounding day cakes and enjoy Mong, Thai, Dao, Muong cuisine.

Not far from there, Independence Day in Than Uyen (Lai Chau) lasts from August 29 to September 2.
Besides the flag-raising ceremony, visitors can watch swallow-tailed boat racing, art programs, explore the cultural space of the Thai, Mong, Dao, Kho Mu people and buy typical agricultural products.
Dien Bien creates a highlight with the International Dance Festival from August 28 to September 2.
Domestic and international folk dance performances and hot air balloon performances bring a new color to the historical land. Visitors can combine visiting Hill A1, De Cat tunnel, Muong Thanh bridge and Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum.

Sa Pa (Lao Cai) enters a holiday in the middle of the golden rice season.
The Ban May Golden Season Festival lasts until September 2nd, introducing terraced fields, handicrafts and the lives of highland people. Visitors can combine cloud hunting, conquering Fansipan or exploring coastal villages.
New experiences in the Northeast region
Tuyen Quang has just brought a diverse journey from Tan Trao, Na Hang to Dong Van Karst Plateau.
In two nights, August 31st and September 1st, the reality show "Scents of Na Hang" takes place on the lake. Tourists can both cruise, watch performances, enjoy tea, and explore local products.

The art program "Historical Autumn Epic" was held on the evening of August 29 in Ha Giang 1 ward and on the evening of September 2 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Minh Xuan ward.
In Dong Van, the Old Quarter, the Night Performance Center, the divine well and the Thien Huong banyan tree cluster have been renovated to welcome guests.
In Lang Son, for the first time, the Cavalry Troupe and the Military Orchestra of the Mobile Police Command performed at the Hung Vuong Street Cultural Space.
The program takes place at 8:00 PM on September 2nd, including a cavalry parade, controlling horses to overcome obstacles, performing horseback techniques and trumpet music.

At the same time, the street has OCOP stalls, cuisine, souvenirs, folk games and street art.
Visitors can combine visiting Nhi - Tam Thanh, Mac Citadel, Ky Lua market or Bac Son valley.
In Cao Bang, the event series lasts from August 28 to September 2.
The highlight is the program "Cao Bang Concert - Thousand Years of Water" on the evening of September 1st at Pac Bo Square, followed by the first high-altitude fireworks display of the province. Kim Dong pedestrian street and along the Bang River also have art performances, bamboo racing, tug-of-war, folk games and culinary space, OCOP products.
