The top 30 best contestants of the "Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam 2025" contest officially gathered in Moc Chau, Son La to participate in experiential activities, filming reality TV.
In the first episode, the contestants and the organizing committee and judges (NSND Lan Huong, journalist Ngo Ba Luc...) visited the Vat Pagoda, Dai Yem Waterfall, explored culture, cuisine and experienced xoe dance, brocade weaving with local people.

Located in the clouds of the Northwest mountains and forests, Moc Chau - the beautiful plateau of Son La province is always as beautiful as a poetic natural painting. With a fresh climate all year round, lush green tea hills, vast fields of grass and the brilliant colors of flowers all year round, Moc Chau brings visitors a sense of peace and freshness.
Moc Chau is home to many ethnic groups with unique cultural features: Thai, Kinh, Muong, Dao, Kho Mu, Tay, La Ha... with unique cultural features, bustling festivals and gentle smiles of the people of the highlands.
And in the picture of nature, people and unique cultural beauty, the contestants had unforgettable times of discovery and experience.

The contestants have contributed to promoting the beauty of Moc Chau to tourists from all over. This is also one of the purposes of the organizing committee of the contest, to make each contestant a tourism ambassador, promoting the beauty of Moc Chau in particular and Vietnam in general.
In the first episode, the contestants had activities to explore and experience Ban Van, Muong Sang Commune - a prominent highlight of Moc Chau's community tourism.
The first stop of the contestants was at Chua Vat, also known as Chien Vien. Chua Vat is a familiar spiritual destination for locals and tourists.

At Vap Pagoda, the contestants offered incense and visited the pagoda built in the 13th century, which used to be a thriving Buddhist center for the Northwestern ethnic groups. Although time and war have eroded ancient architecture... the sacred relics and cultural values are still intact...
After the Van Pagoda, the contestants come to Dai Yem Waterfall located in the middle of the green mountains and forests of Moc Chau plateau. Dai Yem waterfall can be called one of the symbols of Moc Chau landscape, appearing like a soft white silk strip falling in the middle of the great forest.

With fresh water pouring down from a height of more than twenty meters, the waterfall creates a poetic scene, both majestic and gentle, just like the name "Dai Yem", symbolizing the honorable beauty of the Northwest girls. Here, the contestants had a chec-kin photography activity to promote the beauty of Dai Yem Waterfall.
The contestants divided into groups to take a challenge with the Thais in Ban Vat, the results are included in the semi-final score.
The challenges include experiential activities with local people to learn and better understand the lives and cultures of ethnic groups as well as the people here.
The contestants were very active and excited to participate in learning about herbal medicine, picking medicine and making medicine with artisans; learning about weaving activities, introducing products and learning brocade weaving and learning Thai Bamboo dance.
Through these activities of the contestants in the final round of "Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam 2025", the audience can see more deeply the scenery, beauty of the land and culture of the Mochau people, and thereby love this land more.

According to Ms. Dam Huong Thuy - Head of the Organizing Committee, each episode will be a film to promote the image of local tourism and the culture of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. The contest aims to promote the image of the country, encourage the younger generation to be proud and preserve national identity.

The "Miss Ethnic Tourism Vietnam 2025" contest was held for the first time to honor the beauty and identity of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, while promoting sustainable tourism and Vietnamese culture to international friends.
This is not only a beauty contest, but also a journey to spread cultural pride, national solidarity and the desire to integrate of the younger generation. The contest is expected to become a bridge to preserve and promote cultural heritage, while promoting the sustainable development of green tourism and community tourism - inevitable trends of the times.
The activities and finals of the contest will take place in Moc Chau, Son La. The final night is expected to be in mid-November 2025. Currently, the contestants are participating in reality TV filming activities before entering the semi-finals.
