Quest's World of Wonder is a travel show on CNN hosted by Richard Quest. He takes viewers to different cities around the world, discovering experiences that not all tourists know.
At the beginning of his journey in Ho Chi Minh City, he quoted a saying by Graham Greene - author of the novel The Quiet American: "People say that when you come to Vietnam, it only takes a few minutes to understand many things, the rest needs to be experienced in reality...". And he commented that although there have been too many changes, that saying is still true.

Not just a tourist visiting Vietnam, Richard Quest chose to explore Ho Chi Minh City by immersing himself in the vibrant life here. He said that despite being jetlagged after an 11-hour flight, he planned to get on his motorbike and go sightseeing right away.
"There are about 8 million motorbikes moving around Ho Chi Minh City, it feels chaotic but still organized and rhythmic like music. And this city is modernizing so quickly." Those were Richard's first impressions after his first motorbike taxi ride.

He experienced getting a sidewalk haircut, learned how to cross the street like a local, wandered through alleys to go to the second-hand market, enjoyed banh xeo, civet coffee, flew kites to watch the sunset... Not only that, to gain more practical perspectives, Richard also learned water puppetry himself, and learned how a bamboo circus was staged.
Quest's World of Wonders program with vivid images and authentic perspectives from a veteran American MC is a golden opportunity to promote and share Vietnam's image to foreign tourists.
Previously, Vietnam had many tourism promotion programs in conjunction with CNN such as: Vietnam National Administration of Tourism launched the video Why not Vietnam broadcast on CNN in 2020, Hanoi People's Committee signed a 5-year cooperation agreement (2019 - 2024) with CNN to produce many tourism promotion programs...
