Ho Chi Minh City - During the 2026 New Year holiday, many eco-tourism destinations in the East of the City attract a large number of tourists to visit and experience.

As a region with strengths in tourism, during the New Year holidays of 2026, the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau) continues to attract a large number of tourists to visit and experience.

Besides destinations that are already known to many people such as Vung Tau, Long Hai, Ho Tram with strengths in sea tourism and resort tourism, these days many people have chosen to go to eco-tourism areas and eco-destinations in the area to experience and relax during the New Year holiday.

Recorded at an eco-tourism destination in Tam Long ward (HCMC), each holiday, this unit welcomes hundreds of visitors to have fun, stay, use services, and participate in experiential activities in a green, fresh, and nature-friendly space.

Mr. Nhat (resident of Vuon Lai ward, Ho Chi Minh City) said that eco-tourism resorts help relax and rest with family after a stressful working time.

After days of tiring work, I want to enjoy spacious, airy, and green spaces. In addition to going out to explore, I also breathe fresh air, bringing new energy for the beginning of 2026," Mr. Nhat said.

Some other eco-tourism destinations in Dat Do commune, Xuan Son commune... also attracted a significant number of visitors during the early 2026 holiday. Not only attracting domestic tourists, some foreign tourists also came to experience it.

It is estimated that the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City has about 100 eco-tourism activity points. Each destination attracts hundreds to thousands of visitors every day to participate in activities and services in green spaces; contributing to promoting tourism development in general and eco-tourism trends in the area.

Previously, destinations had proactively prepared facilities and human resources to ensure service quality, bringing complete experiences to tourists. Some places also combine sightseeing, agricultural experience, introduction of local culture..., creating diversity and richness of activities in green spaces, helping tourist groups (especially families and young children) have more choices for fun and vacation at the beginning of the year.
