The movie "1 millimeter away from you" ended leaving many deep impressions in the hearts of the audience. Besides the content about the friendship from childhood of the "Headquarters" group, the scenery of May village in the movie also received great attention.
Cloud Village in the film is a place to record childhood memories of the group members and also a place to witness their growth process. This main setting is filmed in reality at many locations in Ninh Binh province. Right from the first episodes airing, the natural scenery here quickly attracted the attention of the audience with its rare pristine and peaceful nature.
The rustic natural space contributes to creating a slow, gentle rhythm for the film. Following the footsteps of the characters, the audience feels like they are returning to a peaceful countryside - where there are quiet mountains, gentle rivers, quiet lotus ponds and fields stretching in the wind.

One of the moments loved by many viewers is the scene of Thu "bo" and Bien walking together on a white reeds road in episode 34. The fragile reeds cover the walkway, harmonizing with the light and slow movement of the two characters, creating a poetic, gentle and romantic scene.
In fact, the filming location of May village is the gravel area near Khe Coc island and the locations around Trang An eco-tourism area.
Ms. Nguyen Oanh (Ninh Binh), a loyal audience member of the film, came to the film studio area to recall the impressive footage after "Cach em 1 milimet" wrapped up.
She said: "I visited the road full of reeds along both sides of the road, visited the table where the "Headquarters" group still often meets, visited the house where the two brothers Vien - Tu lived... That scene brought me many nostalgic emotions, especially going back to the impressive old films such as the moment Thi Tu was beaten or when Vien took Ngan to school".

This area is close to famous tourist attractions of Ninh Binh province such as Trang An, Tuyet Tinh Coc, Khe Coc gravel bank. It is known that many locals call the filming area Thung En. To get to this area, Ms. Oanh instructed tourists to follow the entrance to Dung Pho Nui restaurant and then drive through Khe Coc gravel bank.
A representative of homestay For You Ninh Binh Boutique said that because the filming location is about 300m from the resort area, thanks to the effect of the movie, many tourists have come here.
Tourists quite like cycling on the reeds road like in the movie. The scenery is really beautiful and poetic," said a representative of the homestay.

When a film makes a mark in the hearts of the public, especially thanks to beautiful and emotional filming locations, audiences often have a desire to directly set foot in spaces that have appeared on screen.
Since then, the landmarks in the film have gradually become searched destinations, not only attracting tourists but also contributing to bringing the cultural and natural beauty of the less-known lands closer to the public, in a natural and sustainable spreading way.
Previously, many Vietnamese films also contributed to promoting domestic tourism. "I See Yellow Flowers on Green Grass" (2015) created a "healing" tourism wave in Phu Yen, helping the locality increase 20-25% of visitors after the movie was released, or the movie "Diadel: Sunlight in the Dark" and "Red Rain" causing box office fever, which sparked a wave of tourists to Cu Chi Tunnels (HCMC) and Quang Tri Citadel.
