With the theme "Ninh Binh - Heritage Journey Through Times", Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 is expected to create a highlight to promote the image of the ancient capital, Trang An heritage and typical local tourism products.
According to the plan, this year's event has many notable activities such as the Tam Coc Gold Festival at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area; Trang An Creative Music Festival; Yosakoi Festival; Ninh Binh Sea Tourism Festival 2026; "Tam Coc Golden Season" photo tour and many traditional cultural and artistic experience programs.
The highlight of Tourism Week is the opening program held on the evening of May 23rd at Dinh Tien Hoang Square, Hoa Lu ward. The art program with the theme "Thousand-Year Paintings", with the participation of nearly 200 actors and artists, promises to create a unique cultural space to serve people and tourists.
In addition to the main activities, Ninh Binh province also organizes a survey program, introducing tourism products; art photo exhibition "Beautiful photos of Ninh Binh tourism"; water puppetry performances, Cheo singing, Xam singing, folk songs of three regions and traditional cultural and artistic activities at tourist destinations.
Mr. Bui Van Manh - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 - said that so far the preparation work has basically ensured progress. Plans on organizing the opening ceremony, welcoming delegates, logistics, security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting and environmental sanitation have been implemented by relevant units.
The Department of Culture and Sports has guided propaganda work, directed art units to practice programs to serve tourists in the Tam Coc boat wharf area, Dinh Cac - Tam Coc tourist route and craft village space. The Provincial Police have developed a plan to ensure security and order, traffic safety, and fire prevention and fighting safety throughout the event.
In related communes and wards, local authorities are promoting urban embellishment, environmental sanitation, organizing pedestrian streets, rural food markets, folk games and response activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere before the Tourism Week takes place.
According to Mr. Bui Van Manh, Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 is not only an annual tourism event, but also an opportunity to honor heritage values, promote the image of Ninh Binh land and people to domestic and international tourists.
The event is organized in the direction of green, sustainable tourism and digital transformation, ensuring no impact on the landscape and heritage environment. We aim to welcome about 600,000 domestic and international visitors to Ninh Binh during the Tourism Week" - Mr. Manh said.
