According to storm news, the latest low pressure from the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC), a new low pressure appeared in the Pacific Ocean.
As of the morning of June 12, the low pressure bearing the symbol Invest 92W is currently located in the western Pacific region. The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure reaches 30 km/h.
The low pressure is forecast to have little chance of developing strongly into a tropical depression or storm in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the low pressure bearing the symbol Invest 95S is currently located in the Southwest Indian Ocean. The strongest wind near the center of the low pressure has decreased to 55 km/h.
JTWC forecasts that the low pressure is unlikely to strengthen into a tropical depression or storm in the next 24 hours.
In the East Sea, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the morning of June 12, the sea area southeast of the Central East Sea, the South East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone), the sea area from Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand had scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Forecast for the day and night of June 12, the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea, the southeast of the Central East Sea and the South East Sea area (including Truong Sa special zone) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind at level 7-8, sea waves over 2.0m high.
