According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 p.m. on November 9, the center of the storm was located at approximately 19.0 degrees North latitude; 114.2 degrees East longitude, in the North East Sea, approximately 400km northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 14 (150-166km/h), gusting to level 17. Moving in a West Northwest direction, at a speed of approximately 15km/h.

Forecast until 13:00 on November 10, the storm will move in the West Northwest direction then turn West Southwest, about 10km/h.

At this time, the storm center is at about 19.0 degrees North latitude - 112.0 degrees East longitude; in the northwest sea of ​​the North East Sea, about 280km north of Hoang Sa archipelago. Intensity level 12-13, gust level 16.
