Diverse products, attracting customers to experience
This year's holiday, many tourism businesses in Ca Mau proactively innovate products, aiming for a close to nature experience and service personalization.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hon, Director of Hoang Hon Tourism Company (Dat Mui commune), said that the unit is ready to welcome guests with new products such as jungle tours, "Muicamau Beach Camping" program - coastal camping. The activities are designed for tourists to immerse themselves in the characteristic forest and sea space of the southernmost land.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tran Van Thao, Director of Vietravel Ca Mau branch, said that businesses focus on personalizing experiences, building many separate product segments such as short-day tours for families, discovery programs for young people, team building packages for businesses. Ecotourism and community tourism tours continue to be prioritized, in line with the trend of nearby tourism and reasonable costs.

According to Mr. Ly Vy Trieu Duong, Deputy Director of Ca Mau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, before and during the April 30th holiday, the locality organizes many large-scale activities such as the Week of Science, Technology - Culture, Tourism; The first Mekong Delta Delicious Rice Contest in 2026; launching the Rice Museum; Southern Folk Cake Festival... creating more products and experiences for tourists.
Ca Mau is gradually building the image of a green destination, associated with the conservation of mangrove ecosystems, while promoting indigenous cultural values. Community tourism models not only bring authentic experiences but also contribute to creating sustainable livelihoods for people.
More than 104,000 visitors, revenue increased sharply
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ca Mau province said that during the 3-day Hung Kings Commemoration Festival holiday (from April 26 to the end of April 27, 2026), the whole province welcomed 104,310 visitors, an increase of 52.6% compared to the same period in 2025; including 1,470 international visitors.
Many destinations attract a large number of tourists such as Hung Vuong Square with about 12,800 visitors, Phan Ngoc Hien Square with more than 8,700 visitors, Dat Mui Tourist Area with about 6,517 visitors. Community tourism households and attractions in Dat Mui commune also welcomed more than 6,100 visitors.

Total revenue from tourism activities in 3 days is estimated at 78.2 billion VND, an increase of 61.3% compared to the same period last year. According to functional sectors, this result comes from the effect of a series of cultural and tourism events organized synchronously, including the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival at Hung Kings Temple (Tri Phai commune) and many programs to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day.

It is forecasted that in the upcoming peak days, the number of visitors to Ca Mau will continue to increase. The local tourism industry is coordinating with relevant units to ensure security and order, food safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting; and at the same time requesting tourist destinations to publicly list prices, stabilize prices and improve service quality for tourists.
