On August 8, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province announced that the program "Check-in Festival - Get Gifts Immediately" will take place from August 15 to September 2, 2026, to create more experiences for people and tourists and contribute to promoting the Dak Lak Durian Festival on digital platforms.
According to the plan, the program aims to stimulate tourism demand, strengthen festival promotion on media and social networks; and at the same time honor the value of the durian industry, creating experiential highlights for tourists.
Through check-in activities, the Organizing Committee expects to build a rich source of image and video data to serve communication work, introducing images of the land, culture, people and tourism of Dak Lak to a large number of tourists.
The Organizing Committee will arrange 12 check-in booths at 7 locations, associated with 10 typical activities of the festival, including: Opening Ceremony; "Đắk Lắk vươn tầm, khởi sắc" music night; Durian Tower; specialized durian and OCOP product exhibition area; Durian Food Festival; "Ký ức nhà dài" reality show; art photo exhibition; festival summary art program; Tuy Hoa Running Tour 2026 and durian promotion pickup truck parade.
To participate, people and tourists only need to scan the QR code arranged at the booths, register information, check-in, take photos and share on social networking platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram.
The system will record the results of participation for the Organizing Committee to summarize, award prizes and publicly announce on the festival's media platforms.
Notably, the Management Board of Dak Lak Relics and Museums will issue 1,000 free vouchers to visit relic sites and scenic spots as gifts for program participants.
Mr. Tran Hong Tien - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province - said that with a series of 17 major activities taking place from August 15 to September 2, the Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026 aims to comprehensively introduce the potential, advantages, production scale, quality and value of the durian industry.
Giving vouchers is expected to create more motivation for tourists to continue exploring destinations, relics, and scenic spots in the province after participating in festival activities.
The program "Check-in Festival - Receive Gifts Instantly" is also expected to create a spreading effect on social networks, contributing to bringing the image of Dak Lak Durian Festival closer to tourists, and at the same time promoting tourism products, culture and local specialties.
