Land clearance in Dak Lak has clear changes after 45 days of peak season

Dak Lak is implementing a 45-day and night peak period on site clearance work. Day by day, this work has had many positive and clear changes.

Many clear results

Through the actual implementation of projects in Dak Lak province, it shows that site clearance work still has many obstacles with different natures and levels.

However, the main difficulties focus on determining the origin of land, updating land administration changes, developing compensation plans, arranging resettlement, and mobilizing people to hand over land.

After launching the 45-day and night peak period on site clearance, localities have established working groups and assigned direct leaders to be in charge.

Currently, localities also mobilize professional officials to focus on inventorying and verifying the origin of land, appraising compensation plans and organizing dialogues with people.

Cu Yang commune is a bright spot in site clearance work after deploying the 45-day and night peak period. Accordingly, before deploying the peak period, 6 households did not agree to receive compensation and support money and did not hand over 3.86ha of land.

Immediately after the provincial-level working group was established, Cu Yang Commune People's Committee also established a working group directly directed by Chairman of the Commune People's Committee Tran Van Dong, regularly sticking to the area, propagating and mobilizing each household.

As a result, all 6 households voluntarily received money and handed over the land, completely removing the prolonged bottleneck.

Responding to the "45 days and nights campaign to accelerate the progress of site clearance for projects", Tan An Ward People's Committee implemented many propaganda and mobilization solutions to create consensus among the people, contributing to ensuring the progress of key projects.

At the Ton Duc Thang road project section passing through the ward, thanks to doing a good job of mobilization, up to now, 1 more organization and 5 households have voluntarily handed over the site to serve construction.

After receiving the site, the Ward People's Committee requested the construction unit to support the relocation of architectural structures and assets to a safe place, and at the same time urgently clean up and clear the site to accelerate the project implementation progress.

Creating development momentum

According to Tan An Ward People's Committee, to create positive changes in site clearance work, the locality focuses on propagating and disseminating policies on land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement.

In particular, Tan An Ward People's Committee has paid attention to listening to the thoughts and aspirations of the people, promptly answering problems arising during the implementation process.

In addition, the locality also publicly posted decisions approving compensation and support plans at the headquarters of the Ward People's Committee and common living locations of residential areas with recovered land.

Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Y Nhuan Bya said that the 45-day and night peak period is not simply a KPI race but also an opportunity to test the coordination capacity, sense of responsibility and operational efficiency of the entire system.

When each bottleneck is removed and each part of the site is handed over, key projects will have more conditions to accelerate and soon turn investment resources into development momentum.

Recently, directly directing Task Force No. 5, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Y Nhuan Bya highly appreciated the efforts of localities, investors and related units in removing bottlenecks in site clearance.

Mr. Y Nhuan Bya requested units to quantify the results with specific products, associated with the progress and completion time for convenient inspection and supervision.

Investors and construction units need to increase manpower and equipment, and organize construction immediately at locations where land has been handed over.

Propaganda and dialogue with the people need to be carried out regularly and continuously to create consensus, contributing to accelerating the progress of projects and promoting socio-economic development of the province.
