Details of road ban schedule in Hanoi from October 4 to 6

Hanoi banned and temporarily banned many central streets to organize the "Cultural Festival for Peace" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, October 10.

According to the Traffic Police Department (Hanoi City Police), from 2:00 p.m. on October 4 to 12:00 a.m. on October 6, the following streets will be closed to traffic:

Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Lai streets (from Ly Thai To to Dinh Tien Hoang).

Le Thach, Dinh Le, Nguyen Xi, Trang Tien Streets (from Ngo Quyen to Dinh Tien Hoang).

Hang Khay, Le Thai To, Hang Dau streets (from Lo Su - Hang Dau intersection to Dinh Tien Hoang).

Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square area, Tran Nguyen Han (section from Ly Thai To to Dinh Tien Hoang).

Luong Van Can Street (section from Hang Hanh alley to Le Thai To).

Bao Khanh Street (section from Bao Khanh alley to Le Thai To), Hang Bai (section from Hai Ba Trung to Trang Tien).

Temporarily ban and restrict vehicles from 13:00-24:00 on October 4 and 5:00-24:00 on October 5-6 for cargo vehicles with cargo weight over 500kg, passenger vehicles with over 29 seats and restrict private cars on:

Ngo Quyen, Ly Thai To, Tran Nguyen Han, Nguyen Huu Huan, Le Lai streets (section from Ly Thai To to Tran Quang Khai).

Ba Trieu Street (from Hang Khay to Tran Hung Dao), Hang Bai (section from Hai Ba Trung to Ham Long).

Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Hung Dao, Hai Ba Trung Streets.

Le Thanh Tong, Phan Chu Trinh, Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Hue Streets.

During the ban and temporary ban period, vehicles from eastern and northeastern districts such as Gia Lam and Long Bien and western and northwestern districts of the city such as Hai Ba Trung, Dong Da, Cau Giay, Hoai Duc, Dan Phuong can pass through Nhat Tan, Long Bien, Vinh Tuy, Thanh Tri bridges, dyke 401, Tran Nhat Duat, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien, Vo Chi Cong, beltway 3 and vice versa.

Vehicles from the north such as Tay Ho, Dong Anh, Soc Son to southern districts such as Hoang Mai, Thanh Tri pass through Thang Long, Nhat Tan, Vo Chi Cong, Pham Van Dong, Pham Hung bridges, Ring Road 2, Ring Road 3 and vice versa.

Residents and tourists should remember the prohibited streets and prepare alternative routes for convenient travel this weekend, especially when participating in activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital on October 10.

In addition, from 12:00 on October 4 and on October 5-6, the Department of Transport will adjust the routes and starting and ending points of bus routes; temporarily stop looking after vehicles on streets where vehicles are completely prohibited.

Previously, Hanoi had canceled plans to display fireworks in districts after the impact of Typhoon Yagi. Many festival, cultural and artistic activities were also required to be organized concisely and economically.
